Connect your agent
Your agent uploads a KiCad or Altium board, reads its checks and gets a quote. You review it and pay on a checkout page. Axal hosts the MCP server: you add a URL and sign in.
MCP server URL
https://pcba.axal.ai/mcp
Set up, once
Pick your agent. You do this one time: after it, Axal works in every folder, with no key to copy.

Start your agent where your board's files are.
Then ask it to build your board
Open your agent in the folder that holds your board and paste this. From now on, this is all you do for a new board.
Use Axal to get the board in this folder fabricated and assembled. Guide me one step at a time.
What your agent can do
- Upload
- Send your KiCad or Altium design over a private link, and send it again as a new revision when it changes.
- Check
- Show the fabrication (DFM) issues you must fix in your design before the board can be made, and anything that needs a manual quote by email (blind or buried vias, controlled impedance). Parts issues are Axal's to handle: we replace unavailable parts or source them manually, and contact you only if there's a problem.
- Quote
- Price a quantity and a build option: fabrication, assembly, parts, shipping, and how long it takes.
- Checkout
- Give you a link where you see the board, change the order if you like, and pay by card.
Your agent can't order or pay. Paying on the checkout page places the order, and you get a confirmation by email.
Connected agents
Sign in to see and disconnect the agents connected to your account.
If something goes wrong
- Asked to sign in again: connections end after 30 days without use. Reconnect from your agent.
- An upload link expired: links last 15 minutes. Ask your agent for a new one.
- A quote is taking a while: your agent keeps checking until it's priced.
- Your client must support remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in.
- A board that needs a manual quote, a question about an order, or anything else: email samai@joinaxal.com or call (443) 900-5303.
